Pee Mak (2013)

Both have more comedy than really scary stuff and make you root for the characters. When it comes to scare level both have a really low level and can be watched by people who are scaredy-cats like me without trouble.

Both have spirits that appear after dying and act like a living person, though this one not a comedy at all.

If you loved Mario Maurer from this movie,, then you must watch it!!

In both movies : - Friends travel to what happens to be a hunted place and try to survive. - Absolutely funny cowardly characters. - Hilarious iconic lines that you'll remember for the rest of your life. PeeMak is more sentimental and just legendary.

Same storyline: Guy marries beautiful girl. Husband gets called to serve on war. Meanwhile pregnant wife has been waiting for him to return. A plot twist and the story goes on. One is a drama adaptation and the other one is a movie.

"Make me shudder 2" is almost exactly the same as "Pee Mak". Even the names of the couple is the same. The pregnant Nak, Mak that leaves for the war and then the ghost Nak. Just the cast is different and a little bit the storyline, in rest is the same.

Set around the same legend of Nak and Mak. Although the ending is slightly different, it is essentially the same except Nang Nak is like a serious storytelling and Pee Mak goes into the horror-comedy genre.
