The family of the male main character was convicted of treason and the son is the only one who survived and attempt to clear the accusation and reveal the hat they made for his father. also the female main role is a strong and self build person

Both the dramas have independent and feminist female leads who are actually smart. (also funny) The main characters relationship begins with a fake/marriage of convenience and gradually develop feelings for each other. Kind of like a slow burn but not too slow.

Both have ML and FL working on different cases and they fall in love with each other. Imperial Coroner is more fast paced i found the cases better, but golden age is more political and has better costumes. I enjoyed both and recommend both

I think they both have similar story line and vibe. Both FL have similar occupation although in LoY, FL is not government official. Worth giving a try!
