Chu Zi Qian, a General's daughter, was supposed to marry her childhood sweetheart, the Seventh Prince, Zhao Qing. When she suddenly dies, the Emperor issues a decree for the Seventh Prince to immediately marry Lin Yan, a minister's daughter. Inexplicably, Zi Qian wakes up inside the body of Lin Yan, who's in a bridal sedan headed to her wedding. On the way, they see a funeral being held for Zi Qian's real body.
