In both the male lead is famous and the female lead works for the male lead. They are both funny cute dramas I recommend.
Double Love (2022)
Similars
If you like e-sports related romance drama, these might be of interest.
Both Male Leads are famous e-sports stars.
Both Female Leads are talented in the arts and cross paths with the male leads by fate/coincidence.
The supporting characters in both dramas are just as interesting - cute side love stories.
Lots of chaotic drama - jealousy and relationship issues.

It's kind of similar. I know someone recommended Love O2O, and this is basically that show except it's a movie. Ofc the premise is a little different and the main characters are not aspiring actors/actresses, but the gaming aspect is there. As soon as I heard Lu Wan Wan I was like no way someone hasn't recommended this. Someone did in fact recommend the show Love O2O, but at least I get to recommend the movie. I enjoyed both the show and the movie, I'd say watch the movie if you want to enjoy it faster or the show if you want to drag out the romance. Either way, both are great and have similarities to Double Love.
Sounds similar due to the gaming aspect.
The leads also had the same major in school, and similar aspirations to each other in both shows.
ML is seen as cold to others
Both feature gaming
Both feature bickering ml and fl
In GYH ml is a professional gamer with a bad rep and fl is an e-sports reporter turned esports commentator
In DL, both ml and fl are in the entertainment industry and love gaming
Ml find outs fl gaming identity first
Ml and Fl used to be classmates
They reunite in an online game
Fl knew ml identity first
Fl is a celebrity
Ml is an aerospace engineer
They become closer and start dating after fl asks him to be her gaming tutor
In both dramas
- Gaming
- Friendship
- Love-Hate relationship
are common ... .............................................................
Both have male and male leads meet not in the "real world" In Double love they meet online in a game, In Eight Hours they meet in a parallel fictional world.
Romantic Chinese dramas that involve games as a side story / main plot. There is a lot of sass between the main leads that eventually leads to a precious romance. Go Go Squid *does* however involve many side characters and e-sports, as an aside.
just the overall feel of both dramas is pretty similar. just two look-looking people falling in love, gaming and giving cute energy
similarities:
- ML and FL are online friends (even though Double Love is through a game while Moonlight is through a forum/chat)
- ML knows FL identity before FL knows ML identity
- FL admires ML's bestfriend
- FL is just starting off (and excelling) in the industry while ML is famous in the same industry
- FL respects the ML's identity in the industry
- ML does not have a positive relationship with parents
differences:
- different industry (movie/acting industry vs publishing industry)
-FL personalities are pretty different (Double Love FL is fire-y , Moonlight FL is bubbly). Both are stubborn and full of passion, but it's different.
- Double Love has a really nice brother-sister dynamic
- Moonlight ML's best friend has deep-love/complicated-history second CP storyline
- Moonlight has business sabotage as major part of storyline
In both they meet in a game and the male lead is a very good gamer. In love scenery the female lead is famous but in Double love the female lead wants to be famous. They are both cute fluffy dramas I highly recommend.
