Takane no Hana-san (2021)
Similars
A cold-looking business woman constantly mocks and degrades her coworker for his mistakes during work. But secretly she's madly in love with him!
Adapted from the manga series "Takane no Hana san" by Murata Kouji.
Ichinose Kei has just moved to Tokyo Head Office of Yayoi Beer. He was struggling at work, love, and also cuteness but have no choice other than to grow in those areas. One day, he was reunited with his ex-girlfriend Ohara Minami who is now a celebrity. Does this mean the love that has been sealed will start to move again?
While Takane no Hana-san is not a gay romance, it is aslo a romance (and comedy). In Takane no Hana-san, Takamine Hana has a huge crush on Yowaki Tsuyoshi and acts in an eccentric way (as if fangirling over him). She hides this side of herself from Yowaki Tsuyoshi, much like Akafuji Yuichiro hides his from Aoyanagi Hajime in BL Drama no Shuen ni Narimashita: Crank Up Hen.
The two male leads in BL Drama no Shuen ni Narimashita: Crank Up Hen work together which provides us with plenty of funny interactions between the two as this secret is trying to remain as such. Same with Takane no Hana-san, though the female lead and her love interest are superior and subordinate instead of co-workers of an equal level.
Both dramas star Ogoe Yuki if anyone is interested in this actor. He has a more prominent role in Takane no Hana-san as the female lead's love interest.
Older woman/Younger man relation with office(superior/subordinate or boss/employee) setup. Takane no Hana-san is light-hearted though.
Hotaru works for a famous interior design company. It's a glamorous job, but Hotaru's private life is totally the opposite of glamorous. She lives alone, and when she isn't working, she's mostly lazing about her rented house in training wear. She's not interested in men. In fact, she isn't interested in anything. "I'd rather lay around than fool around," is her motto. Her landlord is a bar owner, and one day, his son, who has just separated from his wife, comes to inspect the rental property, not knowing that someone is living there. He is shocked at the mess, but not as shocked as Hotaru. He turns out to be her boss, Takano.
Three years ago, the heart of Amemiya Hotaru, the 'dried up female', had settled on Takano 'Buchou', and the 'dried up female' was supposed to have grown up ... However, right after that, Hotaru was posted as a project team member to far-away Hong Kong. She was cut off from 'Buchou' and devoted herself to work. Then, three years later, Hotaru returns to Japan after finishing the project. She is assigned to the First Planning Department, where 'Buchou' belongs, and immediately begins work as one of the team members. However, both the staff as well as the mood in the company have changed a great deal.
Set two years after "Hotaru no Hikari 2" drama series, Hotaru Amemiya learns that her manager (and now husband) Seichi Takano has a dream of vacationing with his loved one in Rome, Italy. Hotaru then plans for a trip to Rome.

Its the same office romance concept involving a much more stiff FL. Except its shown in the guy's perspective and also the FL in this drama isn't exactly in a higher position or even older than the guy. But somehow their relationship still reminded me of this drama. Its a short series too, so its easy to watch.
