A Time Called You (2023)

Similar time travel plots and the leads saving each other in each timeline and romance between the leads

In both the male series is dead and the female lead have not moved over him and through mystical ways the travel to the past

a: both are based around teens and high school ages/family life only the appeal isn't limited to a younger audience. b: both have first time love and time travel only TW goes back to 1995 specifically and ATCY jumps back to the 80s then forward a few times like the early 2000s and on. c: both have really different yet good story lines that involve trying to change something in the past to alter the future. d: both have a bit of a dark side - one involves a serial killer and the other hidden abuse. e: both series have strong bonds in it whether family or friends. f: TW revolves around music - ATCU does not. g: ATCU is about saving two lives that were tragically lost whereas TW is about changing fate if possible h: Both have some really funny moments. I: ATCY is the only one with an evil person or two. j: In TW the parents are deaf and run a small family restaurant whereas in ATCU the main female's parents don't really see passed their son and the main male's parents are typical parents I suppose.

Both have similar themes of parallel character shown as “trapped” inside the body when the other character takes over. Both explore an alternative world/time travel. However HOG, the female lead goes to multiple timelines and versions of herself whereas ATCY, the female lead goes back to the same timeline. Also, in HOG, the female lead travels with a male lead and they experience it together. Both also attempt to change the course of events and both have romance although HOG it’s more secondary. HOG it’s also a Chinese drama whereas ATCY is a Korean drama.

Again haven't finished either series but just like Someday or One Day, Han Jun Hee goes back in time and is the Korean version of the original series but there are different changes such as episode 1 showing so many information and even adding religion to it which kind of makes it not as good but if you enjoyed Reset, you are bound to enjoy Someday or One Day, and you might enjoy this show so will recommend both A Time Called You and Someday or One Day.

Both explore the idea of time loops and how they can or cannot change someone's fate, although Extraordinary You approaches the idea from a more deeply rooted philosophical point of view (Martin Heidegger's theories of being and time and being-in-the-world). Also, both have high school settings and filmed scenes at the campus of Seoul's Yonsei University, featuring the distinctive Underwood Hall as the entrance to the high school.

Female lead travels back in time to save the guy she loves. Very melancholic, both are set partially in adulthood and partially in youth

Both mess with time(one being like time travel other being time loops) and include high school characters experiencing love and new relationships.

When all you want is to be with your beloved. I didn't watched A Time Called You yet, but by knowing the plot and characters I'm kinda surprised no one pointed Tomorrow with You here. - in ATCY, we have FL grieving her dead bf and travel to a different person life's, while in TWY, ML finds out that he can travel back and forth on time taking the subway and all he wants is to have a happy life.

Derailment and ATCY have heavy tones with romance, thriller, mystery, and fantasy elements. Both explore time travel and alternate worlds. However, Derailment is a Chinese drama and explores memory loss and altering more than ATCY.

On her 17th birthday, Ozaki Karin suddenly lost her childhood friend and first love, Soma Jun. Ten years later, on her 27th birthday, Karin happens to find a film camera left behind by Jun and the photos he took of her. This causes her to remember all the feelings she had for Jun. Unable to control her emotions, Karin burns all the photos and is transported back in time to the day the photo was taken 10 years ago. As Karin travels back and forth between the past and present to stop Jun's suicide, she slowly discovers the shocking truth behind her childhood friend's death.

Both have unexplainable phenomenon/plot mystery. Both have a sort of time travel. Both are trying to prevent a catastrophe. However, Alice is more future based than in the past. Alice has a ML and FL, but the main character is the ML. Lastly, ATCY is much more romance heavy whereas Alice has sense of romance but overall is not a romance between the ML and FL.

The best offers Netflix had this year, both beautifully written and they focus on second chances with a fantasy theme.

Both MPS and ATCY are Korean dramas with romance, time travel, and mystery. Both attempt to alter the past. Both use a “device” to travel to the past. In ATCY, it’s a mixtape and in MPS, it’s a car. However, in MPS, the characters travel as their current selves, and in ATCY, the characters travel into an alternative version of themselves in the past. Overall, ACY is much more convoluted.
