The legend follows Guo Yao Xiang, an official's daughter, from her life in the military barracks to the palace. Her destiny gradually becomes connected to the fate of the nation as she stands up for the people. In the middle of the Tang Dynasty, Guo Yao Xiang often ran into trouble since childhood and was sent to Hezhong's army for training where she masters skills and gains fame as a soldier. Yao Xiang grows from a naive girl to a skilled general as she assumes the mission of rebuilding the Hezhong army. Prince of Guanling Li Chun and Yao Xiang were childhood sweethearts.
