Similars
A blende family coming together. As their, respective, parents find love again with each other and get married, their children learn how to live and grow to love each other as one family and not two.
THE PARENTS:
Both of the shows have a similar background story for the parents, as both fathers lost their wives and both mothers got a divorce.
THE CHILDREN:
The shows, introduce us to how the children get affected and how they come to accept their new siblings, as well as their own personal growth. In ways that you can connect with the children and follow their journey
Both are family dramas, both soap operas in their feel, but more over they both make you root for the characters stories and their growth. You get invested into the drama. BMDF is a bit intimidating because of the high eps volume but once you get into it it’s addictive! I LOVED the series OA and was cheering for characters and after about 20eps into BMDF I really felt the same way! I’m sure you won’t be disappointed with either watch as long as you don’t mind the length. Both were very good family dynamics drama shows.
Very similar settings. ML and FL remarrying. Children opposing at first. Resolving the issues and overcoming their parents' blockade.
Families remarrying. Kids opposing. Breakups. Adjusting to new environments. In 365 though the ML and FL are different. The kids are another story itself. There are many surprises as well in the drama
Both are family centered, Romantic Drama/Comedies allowing us to follow a transitional period in a family in which the children need to reach a new level of maturity; and the parents deal with unresolved issues and the challenges of aging.
Both have...
- one family with only daughters, one family with only sons
- several romantic relationships
- both families live next door
- male divorcees in love
- elders own family business
- lots of fights between two families
you are related but you don't know each other. as family members turn from strangers to family, all relationships strengthen in every aspect...
It's a bit of a stretch but both have elements of emphasizing family, have humor elements, address mental health (in different ways) and include adolescent family separation.
You feel like when watching these shows that you are part of the family.
