Ko Kamoi has recently returned to Japan after completing his FBI training and is assigned to the newly established "Special Wide Area Investigation Team". During this time, an urgent presence order is issued. A bus that transports convicts on death row got attacked and several convicts escape. One of the escapees is a doctor who is charged for murdering his wife. The story follows the team's pursuit of arresting the fugitives again.
