Crush (2021)

Both dramas have the main character as a visually impaired person. In Crush, it is ML. In ALML, it is FL.

I watched Crush without having high hopes, I found a gem. Crush is a very good drama, then reminds me of an old drama which I always kept in my heart, that is That Winter, The Wind Blows. In Crush, ML is blind. In That Winter, The Wind Blows, FL is blind. Both dramas have outstanding cinematography, talented lead actors and amazing plots.

Both dramas showed us the perfect portrayal of a blind person. In crush male lead is blind. In Angel eyes female lead is blind.

WARNING SPOIL : ML in it's okay that's love and FL in Crush both have psychological problems of the same sort

Although different plotlines, the basics are the same - the ML, FL fall in love then separate but still hold a candle for each other, reunite and work it out. In crush the ML is blind and gets himself operated and his irritated nature makes FL not be able to be with her father during his last moments. The ML gets surgery and comes back. In L&P, the ML comes from a dysfunctional family of abuse and FL is a literal princess coming from a well-to-do wealthy family creating contrast and interesting scenarios. In both the ML is a genius with sad past and is lonesome, who is happiest with his bubbly FL.

Same actress as FL. Feels similar as she feels a strong pull to protect the ML due to his visual impairment. He is quiet and attracted to her personality as it is opposite to his. The relationship is building similarly.

[Minor spoiler] Both couples find comfort with each other in a special way. Both ML have a dark history of their childhood regarding their mom and both FL have their own psychological issue. Wonderful cinematography in both dramas, piano elements, great OSTs and a lot of green sceneries. You will find both of the dramas appreciate sound a lot. Both are the types of dramas you will enjoy watching while drinking coffee on raining days.

Both MLs are blind and withdrawn. Both FLs open up their world. ..............................................................

Both are very different, but have a similar backdrop, just role reversed. A beautiful love story with twists and turns

Both dramas have blind, rich and a bit cold male leads. The leads have very good chemistry in both dramas.

Both shows have visually impaired person and a bit of their daily life. Both have nice cinematography and piano elements.

Both are about a couple who break up then meet again years later. Both FLs were very naïve when they were together and have now become more mature and both MLs are colder personalities. While the plot is very different otherwise, both dramas have a similar feel to them in the relationships.

Hmmm… The song is one thing, the harmonious voice by them is another I would say. Here we have another mysterious lead here !! Su Nianqin - Genius songwriter with a disability. He goes by the name Yi Jin here seducing people with his songs. Very talented dude we have here,,, he’s capable of teaching, writing, singing, playing piano, flirting, sweet talk, etc… On the other side we have Mo Qingcheng - Genius dubber and singer (I would say)!! Multitalented dude that’s capable of sooooo many things (to the point that he is way tooooo perfect). He’s good at dubbing (acting, getting immersed), singing, playing instrument, editing (post production), directing, healing, cooking, flirting, sweet talk, etc… Anyway it’s just sssssooooo much… Anyway both of those leads mentioned above are just too talented to the extent that they are sometimes ‘annoys me’… But I enjoy both drama just fine ??

Although the plot is different both Dramas are very cute. Both stories started off as a crush and developed further. So if you enjoyed Hidden Love (which i'm sure you did) you may enjoy Crush as well.

They have very similar vibes. I would say Sweet Teeth is executed better and they are inherently different, but that calming, beige-ridden, 2021 c drama vibe is the same.
