The comedy style is similar on the two dramas. Lots of workplace humour and similar themes.

Both are well written story telling using humor & tears to illustrate the painful workplace environment facing salarymen. Both have solid actors in each role from main to support.

Jig Jang-ui Shin is the korean remake of the japanese 2007 drama with more episodes

very similar female lead and similar contract. But if you like QOF you are definitely gong to love Doctor X.

In both shows the main leads, Chief Kim and Miss Kim, are not trusted by their coworkers, are behaving weird, but are very competent in their workfield. If in Chief Kim we know that Chief Kim has some ulterior motives to join the company, in Queen of Office Miss Kim with her mysterious ways gives always the impression she is hiding some big secret. The office comedy is in both shows amazing and the main characters brilliantly written.

Both are about a strong righteous female characters and their of fighting battles related to work while protecting everyone else. Both actresses are one of the best Kim Hye Soo & Lee Yo Won. Both dramas carry on strong message about work and life and gives importance to the supporting characters as well. Both dramas handle the comedy aspect very well and in both dramas the romance isn't essential but you can still feel it and it's represented in a very mature manner. Highly recommended.
