This is the prequel before Gen Y. I watched it after and it explained Pha and Wayu. Also how Mark and Wayu became friends. Definitely watch this before Gen Y.

Gen Y and 2moons2 share many similarities, although there's no SBFIVE in here, the story that made them famous BL actors in the original 2moons is the same in 2moons2.

Gen Y has a combined cast of Superboy Project and SBFIVE. The main leads played by Kimmon (SBFIVE) and Copter(SBFIVE) have great on screen chemistry and the story for Gen Y focuses more on just the romance between the two main leads.

Nitiman has a similar feel to Gen Y this is purely filming style, music and the franchise vibes it gives. Also, Jin reminds me a bit of Wayu, not just in looks but the way he acts.
