the simularies are that the love story spans for a 1000 years and the male lead loves the female lead more that she loves him actually she has forgotten him so they fall in love again but again they are driven apart by an unknown force.

Both are episodic as in main leads encounter many other stories of humans and spirits before eventually leading them to the finale of their own. Some of main leads' pasts are shrouded in mystery. Both have a romance that spans over a thousand years.
