Both main characters are trying to raise to the top of the Host/Hostess world. Jotei is a little "dirtier" or "grittier" than Giragira.

They are alike in the aspect that both are trying to get to the top of the host field while showing other hosts that a true host isn't about getting the money from the lady but caring about her and making her happy

Both dramas have good looking ikemen actors. In Happy Boys they're serving coffee while in GiraGira they're hosts serving alcohol (and their looks) to women....
