The World Between Us (2019)

Very similar but a narrower focus. - Also deals with the aftermath of a murder and the impact on the victims' and perpetrators' families - all the pain, grief and social isolation both sides go through - discusses mental illness - healing and both sides forgiving each other - masterpiece dramas This drama has more romance though and is much sadder.

Both dramas are about the daily life of the reporters in the field and their news room activities. Pinocchio has the idol drama feel and is comedic with romance.

The reporters and news team are under pressure to quickly put out stories before the other networks to top the TV ratings game. Reporters struggle to separate the real from the fake stories. Both dramas involve prosecutors as main characters. Both are thrillers.

They both have a character being killed and the sad consequences of it on the family (who is innocent) of the killer and the sorrow of the victim's one.

Both are about murderers and their lawyers who fight against the death sentence. The World Between Us is about the murderer´s family and the victims family and Hokyto is about how a child turn murderer.

Both are realistic slice-of-life dramas, focusing on sensitive topics. While Remembrance is about suicide and young adults working lives; The World Between Us is about a mass murderer and the effects on his family and the victims' families.

Both involve how the public, media, and families of both the victims/perpetrator deal and are intertwined with the aftermath of a shocking crime. The World Between Us has a tight script where every line really matters and moves the story forward. Overall it is less melodramatic and more grounded than Come and Hug Me, and has no romance.

-Chris Wu's roles were pretty much similar; he stars in "The World Between Us" as a lawyer; while he's a prosecutor in "Copycat Killer". -Some of the characters in both dramas also work in a news TV channel. -The similarity of both dramas' story is that they were looking for the mastermind behind the crime. -Same number of episodes per drama (10 eps. each)
