Galileo (2007)

The main leads are both eccentric fellows that make use of their exceptional skills of deduction. For Galileo, his profession is a physics professor and so answers cases with scientific reasoning while for Himura Hideo, his profession is a criminologist professor and so answers cases with psychological reasoning associated with criminology. Episodic cases in each dramas are interesting and mind-blogging, some may be predictable but nevertheless enjoyable.

The same main character and plot style.

Crime drama where both male leads try to solve complex cases and expose the elaborate crimes which are meant to cover the real incident and throw off the investigators.

Similar story about the main leads investigating unexplained cases. While the lead in Toshi Densetsu tries to prove the urban legends do exist, the lead in Galileo tries to prove that urban legends do not exist.

I think of liar game when I think of Galileo. I think it because they came out the same year. Both male leads solves the mystery/game. It very interesting to see how each cases were solved.
