Midnight Runners (2017)

They have the same iconic duo dynamic and is both really enjoyable and revolves around cops. They also both have a sense of humor during the whole movie, making the watcher laugh and relate to the main characters.

Miman Keisatsu: Midnight Runner is the japanese drama remake of the korean movie Midnight Runner. The drama only covers the movie plot in the first few episodes.

They are similar since Miman Keisatsu is an adaptation of Midnight Runner but instead of a movie, it was turned into a series.

Both movies are related to police cases and chasing perpetrators. Both movies involve kidnapping and multiple victims. In Officer Black Belt, ML is hired as an officer. In Midnight Runners, the 2 MLs are rookie cops. MLs have a high sense of justice and responsibility towards the victims. MLs decide to take matters in their own hands. Both movies are action comedies. If you watch one, it will certainly make you reminiscent of the other.

Both Korean topic hit the illegal organ harvesting. Very scary organization trick or forced or even killed poor women for their organ. It takes brave men to stop this illegal organized crime

Both are funny and entertaining comedy-action movies, with a wonderful chemistry between main leads. Both have Sung Dong Il in their cast. Highly recommended for a Sunday afternoon leisure time!

Tow main lead in both movies got themselves into deep trouble. No romance just bromance. Both were intense, mystery How was the ending? Were they in real danger?

Shimura Teppei (Fujigaya Taisuke) grew up watching his policeman father who would ride side-by-side in marathons because he was a motorcycle cop, and dreamt of being a marathon runner as a child. But Teppei’s father lost his job and disappeared. Teppei ruined himself by becoming a well-known delinquent in the area. Under the influence of his childhood friend, Yuichi, Teppei chose to become a policeman after graduating from high school. He miraculouslypassed the recruitment exam and entered the police academy. However, he has been assigned to a “class of reserves” (Goriki Ayame, Koyanagi Yu, Okamoto Azusa, Mizusawa Erina, Ishii Tomoya, Mori Ren) which is a gathering of odds and ends. There are eight of them and each day they are only instructed by the assistant teacher, Ryuzaki Misaki, to sweep the academy grounds.

Both movies have comedic elements that are blended well with the main story, which is in both films a case that needs to be solved.

midnight runner harabuji version !! it had fun and comedic scenes and added seriousness to it if u like another duo this would be fun to watch
