Painted Skin (2023)

Douqi's notes for this one was that this short film is based off the Painted Skin 2008 version! It only makes sense to watch its origin story, though I have to admit I prefer the 2012 sequel.

Same story, different version of the tale. Both are historical short films and have an implied LGBTQ+ romance.
