The Legend of Heroes: Hot Blooded (2024)

Heroic tale of going from nothing to something and becoming a hero. I highly recommend this for it's great acting, script and plot.

The initial feeling is kind of similar - an older cast who do their own revenge-remembrance-redemption thing, young heroes finding their place in the world, maybe there'll be some tragedy, lots of action scenes. And there's a promise of sworn brothers in Hot Blooded, just like there is in WBDS.

Similar story telling, similar leads on remarkably similar trajectory. You get to watch both set of leads start in life, their sudden launch in to the real world, society at large and struggling with basic human interactions, figuring out what duplicity looks like and that in fact very few are honest.
