Both have a story within a story/framing device plots in which either two MLs or two FLs are involved in the lives of strangers who come to them for issues in their lives.

Both are mini-dramas that focus on the complicated friendship between two men and the mysteries that they become involved in. Both are the rare mini-dramas that don't focus on romance.

Both have an episodic feel and are about the characters in a historical/fantasy setting with a tragic end, followed by them reuniting as modern day reincarnations in a bar where one or both of them work.

Both starts with modern day, and with the main characters they kind of go back in time to solve each an every person's problems. And at the end the main character's problem is solved the same way. In both, a customer comes with a problem, and they go back in time to solve it, and the customer doesn't even realize what happened, but they only realize that the problem is solved/ they feel better at the end. Only the destined ones can see this place. The main character is a powerful character with secrets about the other main character, that they hide from the other main character.
