One the Woman (2021)

Both dramas involve swapped/mistaken identities and amnesia (or amnesia-like) themes, as well as corruption and mistrustful in-laws. The female leads in both have similar personalities, and the humor/vibe is similar as well.

Okay first of all, this movie is not about doppelganger swap places but it's about a soul who were supposed to crossover were given a second chance in life for a month. Fl were send back to earth and needs to adapt a new life as a housewife and mom instead of being a top prosecutor. Her soul swap places with the housewife's soul who is currently in coma. There's alot of chaos and mess happen and it's so hilarious watching fl try to adjust her new life as a wife and mom which she never experience before. What i like about this movie is although there's a financial restraint, some conflict between husband and wife and their teenage daughter is at the rebellious stage, she try the best as she can and her husband always has her back no matter what.

FL is a persecutor in OTW and a lawyer in TLC. ML in TLC is a persecutor. In both cases FL is bold, straightforward,empathetic, wear vibrant clothes, and temperamental. Both FL defend the oppressed and fight againt the evil CEOs from a powerful corporation related to the family of ML.

Both dramas has a doppelganger character which is focus on the female lead. These dramas revolve around Chaebol Families and their indifference with one another. The poor female lead pretends to be the other on and tries to hide her identity from the spouse family.

My Love from the Star is a fantasy drama while One the Woman is a doppelganger drama. However there are a lot of similarities are easily noticed in both dramas especially in term of comedy surrounding the female leads and suspense surrounding the villains of both dramas - Female leads (Cheon Song-yi and Jo Yeon-joo) in both dramas are very funny and highly confident with themselves while have their own fragile side. However Jo Yeon-joo has much more intelligence than Cheon Song-yi due to her job and educational background (and also much harsher situation she experienced during her youth) - Both dramas have characters with extraordinary physical strength (in My Love from the Star, Do Min-joon has extraordinary physical strength because of his alien nature, while in One the Woman, Jo Yeon-joo developed extraordinary physical strength due to environment she was forced to grow. However Jo Yeon-joo doesn't have superpower like the male lead in My Love from the Star but she is highly capable for defending herself and others because of her own martial arts skill) - Both Do Min-joon from My Love from the Star and Jo Yeon-joo from One the Woman have vast knowledge and understanding of legal and law (Do Min-joon once worked as a lawyer while Jo Yeon-joo is a prosecutor) - Both male leads and female leads (Cheon Song-yi and Do Min-joon; Jo Yeon-joo and Han Seung-wook) live in the same apartment even on the same floor - Both dramas involve internal feud within conglomerate families in both dramas, with the eldest siblings (the older brother in My Love from the Star (Lee Jae-kyung) and the oldest sister in One the Woman (Han Sung-hye)) are willing to do everything to reach his/her goals even resorting to murder those who stand in his/her way. Both dramas' villains' brothers (Lee Hee-kyung and Han Sung-woon) fall in love with the representative female leads but their love remains unrequited by the female leads - There are supporting actors in My Love from the Stars are also starring in One the Woman (Na Young-hee and Kim Chang-wan). Na Young-hee acts as abusive mother (only verbally in My Love from the Star) and mother in law (both physically and verbally in One the Woman) of the female leads (Cheon Song-yi and Kang Mi-na), while in both dramas Kim Chang-wan acts as a lawyer (My Love from the Star) and head of corporate legal team (One the Woman) who helps both of male leads (Do Min-joon and Han Seung-wook)

If you are missing Fiery Priest already, have a little stop-over in One The Woman. Everyone is still patiently waiting for TFP 2, but One The Woman looks like a spin-off with Lee Ha Nee's character in focus. I swear, if you loved Le Ha Nee's role as a prosecutor, you will definitely be satisfied with One The Woman focusing on the female prosecutor's story.

The main characters in both dramas have to act as their doppelganger from super rich-rich family with evil family members. Pretending to be the other person, they also have to take over some big business company. The overall mood and atmosphere of the shows are quite different, though.
