it's the same story but with a different intensity (and length), I really enjoyed watching both of them :)
Koizora

7.9 2008

It´s the film and i think that the actors are better. If you like the tv serie you have to see the film.
Same sad tragic love story. watched this first and thought it was the best until i saw koizora. Try I gove my first love too.
They're both based on school/college students and give off a warm vibe. Not to mention the similarity in terms of heartbreak and disease.
Both tell about how love conquers human limits. Being with the person you love and letting that someone support you. Touching love stories.
the drama is similar in action. The male character fights a deadly illness in which she knows true love. Sky of Love unfortunately ends with death while in Today's Kira-kun the male figure survives.
Same story line from the movie Midnight Sun. In Taiyou no Uta FL is ill but hiding it from ML. A sad yet touching love story.
Kaori lost her eyesight and family in an accident. While trying to enjoy the small things in her life, Kaori struggles to live happily. Kaori mistakes Rui for someone else and begins to talk to him. Rui was once a promising kickboxer, but something happened in his past to cause him to disassociate himself from everyone. Kaori's smile brings out a change in Rui. The two people begin to have feelings for each other, but Rui learns about Kaori's past accident and his connection. Rui decides to take part in an underground fight to pay for Kaori's eye surgery.
They both are beautiful dramas with someone struggling from cancer too.

Love story about ML who is blind & FL who is deaf but they found love in each other. They support & understanding each other I really enjoy melodrama romance movie or dramas.
Both are about romance between a white haired boy & a girl. Both are based on famous manga.......................................
My Bromance

7.2 2014

Both movies are real tearjerkers! Cute tho. My Bromance is obviously BL.
"A Werewolf Boy" was my first tearjerker. Both movies have gone into my collection of movies that make you cry. They are both beautiful, everything the guy did he did for the girl, and it makes you long for men like that to have in life although Koizora was based off the writers real experience. I would definitely suggest making a "Movies that make Me cry" collection with these 2 as the first to.
Both movies have male leads with light bleached hair. In both cases the male lead stands out from the rest of the classmates around them and in both theres highschool romance.
