The plot of both dramas are a little similar, just without the "true loves kiss" ordeal. The dramas have fairly different but obvious similarities.

The relationship between the leads in Make a Wish is really cute & the acting of Gia Ge, the FL, is commendable. You truly believe she is a cat turned human. Give it a try and see how you like it!
Both are love stories between a human and a cat. Meow Meow Boss is a Taiwanese drama while Make a Wish is a a Cdrama.
A lonely human with no friends saves a cat who can shift to human form who then changes his life. Cute ears pop out of human's head at times. Cozy feeling. In Make A Wish, the ML runs a bookstore, in Meow Ears Up he is a webtoon artist which is similar.
Although the premise of both are different. The dynamics and situations are quite similar.
-The FL’s in both dramas are very naive and their personalities are quite the same. They don’t understand the human world and tend to act very strange and out of place.

Both MLs are reclusive and grumpy and their work involves books (as a writer or a bookstore owner), FLs are upbeat and a magical being. The couples either cohabitate or are next door neighbors. In both, there is an evil character attempting to use the FL and her abilities for their own goals, and the ML is injured protecting her while the two are being held on a boat. Both dramas have a similar vibe.
Both are about the relationship between a human and a shapeshifter animal/human (cat vs. dog) who end up living together. Both have cozy workplace settings (bookstore vs. café).
