Goodbye My Princess: Director's Cut (2019)

Both Dramas have FL characters that are deeply in love with a male character that interacts w/them daily. Their betrothals to another man leave s them w/ questions on how to deal w/ their situations.

The longer version of the movie and the original, this one has more longer episodes and you get to see more povs and extra scenes apparently.

Similarities for the 2 dramas: - ML & FL fall deeply in love with each other - ML's responsible in killing FL's whole family / tribe - FL's devastated when she finds out what ML has done - FL hates ML and yet still loves him - SML is in love with FL, and is always there helping her out

I found the first few episodes to be remarkabley similar! They both feature desert scenes where one person saves the other. Both MLs also hide their true identity and both FLs are princesses. Both also have a marriage alliance and devoted MLs. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a drama to fill the gap after Princess Jieyou or Goodbye my princess.

Red flag ML who is ambitious for the throne and deceives and used the FL in a similar way to get what he wants. Tortured, painful love. Similar angst levels and also good production quality.

Some small spoilers ahead... Circle of Love and Goodby my princess are similar in the following ways: 1. Unapologetically toxic male lead 2. Female lead who starts out innocent 3. Second male lead who is deceitful 4. Multiple deaths 5. Amnesia
