Novoland: Pearl Eclipse (2021)

Both have a bittersweet romance between master and disciple. Both MLs also made a vow to stay unmarried for life but their resolve got shaken when they meet the FL.

Let me tell you, this is the only drama I have come across after TLB that can compare. The fighting scenes were 10/10. Strong FL, no love triangles with the main couple. Their love was felt so deeply without having to be open about it. The story was good there were a lot of turns and twists, not your usual plot; would definitely keep you hooked. Highly recommend. Though, this is rated 8.3 it’s more like 8.8.

In both dramas the female lead character disguise herself as a male. In both dramas the female lead character works for the emperor. In both dramas the female lead character parents were murdered.

Both female leads are strong in personality and are amazing in martial arts. Both are also related to typical war and political drama in historical chinese dramas. William Chan's character is a bit cheerful and lovey dovey in this drama. If you love William in novoland this is a MUST WATCH

The master-student relationship storyline in Pearl Eclipse reminds me of Si Yin and Mo Yuan in Eternal Love. But EL was tragic....I really hope this isn't.

This is similar to mirror twin cities and I hop both of these dramas will air sometime next year so I think both of these will be great dramas to watch

While NTPFP hasn't aired yet, both dramas have similar themes of a tragedy, the main protagonist being a female and being a part of the Novoland universe. While NPE is based during the last Zheng dynasty of Novoland, NTPFP is based during the Chao dynasty and the beginning of the nine territorial divisions.

Both dramas have master - apprentice forbidden relationship . In both dramas the female lead is an orphan or she's abandoned due to a massacre and male lead saves her and makes her his apprentice

They are similar because both FL know how to fight. Also, from one of Yang Mi's posters, she's in a similar position to Zhao Liying because she is also holding a bow and arrow in shooting position.

Colossal dramas, revolving around kingdoms and also about the politics of the country. A man who is actually a woman, a love story that pierces the soul. The chemistry of the main cast is extraordinary.
