Summary of Your Highness: The main protagonist is Qin Zhan, an avid player of a popular online game called New Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils (it's both an actual game in China and a well-loved classic wuxia). Qin Zhan time travels into the game that he's been playing for ten years and gains incredible powers as a result. However, he also becomes the number one enemy of the entire martial arts world and must face the dangers and conspiracies that are thrown in his way.

Both shows have the same kind of premise about people being inside a game. Kenny Kwan also stars in both.

Both have characters stuck in a game. Both also have the protagonist find love in the game. Though, Your Highness seems to use more CGI special effects and really plays off the super powers aspect.

There is a fine line between online and realtime, and this movie simply explores this idea. It's more of a romantic comedy but with some good CGI fighting.

So I was a little shocked not to see this rec for SB. It has the same feel as video games and romance-com.

Tried to recommend W but not finding the series and showing only the special. Cross-world traveller between realtime and a manga world, there is some action and some mystery. Not costume but still worth a watch.

Both dramas use the comical acting style for lots of laughs. Both dramas merge an ancient drama with the modern world. In K.O.3an Guo there are different dimensions and one of the dimensions takes you to a historical past setting. In Your Highness, they are in a gaming world that is set in a historical setting. Both dramas include a villain with a hidden identity.
