The Genius is the like the baby of the society game. They have the same director/producer and the like. The focus also is the same having mental games specifically. Alliances and such.

Have the same concept of survival. The Wedding War also uses physical strength to be able to win the prize, but the difference is that it is done by couples.

Both are Lord of the Flies esque Survival Games with social commentary. Both show society as a miniature and interesting way, essentially being an anthropological scifi Society Game is even further political than SQG, but in both winner gets a large sum of money Society Game is a variety show though so obviously no killing like in Squid Game lol
