Royal Highness (2018)

Both about a man who starts from the bottom to the top. I haven't watched GOW but by synopsis they are similar in that.

Both is about a commoner rising to power and being loyal to only one woman. Qing Qing Zi Jin, the male lead is an intelligent bandit leader while in Royal Highness the male lead is only a commoner scholar. Both the dramas female lead only see the male lead and support to the end. No Second Main lead syndrome (Lucky for that) *There are a lot of similarities don't wanna put spoilers though.

Both are about commoner rising to power. Becoming powerful and upright official and crushing bad people.
