Synopsis:
The story of the famous Empress Ci Xi who reigned during the late Qing Dynasty. Two young men, Wen Xiu and Chun Er, go to the Forbidden City to find work. Chun Er becomes a eunuch for Empress Ci Xi. These two men become involved with the political conflicts of the empress.
