Since his mother died, Minowa left his hometown because of his father's irresponsible ways. 10 years later, he hears that his father has died. He goes back to his hometown as 30-year-old man who doesn't have a regular job. Minowa then learns that he has younger step-sister named Kana. He wants to make his Kana happy and looks for a job in earnest. Minowa is finally able to land a job as an office clerk at a law office. Beautiful attorney Natsumi has to educate Minowa about the law. Natsumi becomes dumbfounded by his zero knowledge of law and lack of knowledge in general. Natsumi, though, becomes slowly influenced by Minowa's strong sense of justice and love.
