Toha Yamaji is an ordinary teenager living with this father Tetsuzan Yamaji, brother and sister, Manabu and Kei Yamaji. Tetsuzan is the 34th Grandmaster of the Togakure-ry? Ninp? school and teaches martial art to the siblings, passed on for generations in the family, primerely by his deseased wife's family. It comes the day when Tesuzan has to reveal to Toha that, in fact, he's not the boy's biological father and passes on to Toha the task protecting 'Secret Treasure Pako' from the Sorcerers Clan by becoming Jiraiya.
