Xuan Lie investigates Jing He’s whereabouts during the Shangshi Festival, so to cover his discovery of Zhang Yin and his search for Li Qing, Jing He uses his romantic interest in Mei Lin to distract Xuan Lie. In doing so, he begins to develop feelings for Mei Lin and also riles up Yue Qin, who tries to get closer to Mei Lin to protect her from him. Qing Yan discovers Li Qing's whereabouts.
