Sheng Nan is now jobless. Meng chases her for Lu Jin’s car repair charges again. Then, he finds out that Zhao Di and Sheng Nan are best friends when he gives her a lift. Meng takes the opportunity to get Zhao Di to have a meal with him in a fancy restaurant but she isn’t impressed. Lu Jin asks Sheng Nan to cook him seafood. He arrives at her working class housing area and feels out of place. He proceeds up to her apartment to enjoy her cooking. Sheng Nan charges him exorbitant rates including corkage fees in order to pay off her debt as quickly as possible. Hence, for the next meal, Lu Jin declines to let her serve him wine and comes up with ways to reduce the charges. Sheng Nan asks for ideas from Gao Quan An.
