Liang Wan and Su Wan are slowly losing hope of ever getting out of Gutong Jing. To save Yang Hao, Li Cu promises the Nine clans more treasures. Zhang Ri Shan reveals himself to the clans and provokes them to fight, not knowing that Clan Wang is planning an ambush. The continuous fighting awakens the snake cypress. During the commotion Li Cu is taken by Clan Wang again. Wu Xie and Su Nan make a deal to get out from the Snowy Mountains together. Zhang Ri Shan leads the Nine clans into the ancient town of Gutong Jing.
