Zhang Ri Shan and Luo Que are still stuck in the tunnels with Chen Ding and his men fighting to survive while Chen Ding's greed gets the better of him. Li Cu and the others arrive at the first supply post in the desert with Li Cu worrying about the others not taking the threat of Gutong Jing seriously. They meet a group of writers who suddenly decide to change their travel plans and go with Li Cu's group. Liang Wan and Li Cu finally find some common ground.
