Asule makes plans to reunite with Yu Ran and Ji Ye in Qing province while Xiao Zhou goes to Chu Wei state with her mother. Plans go awry when Ning Qin arrives to take Asule back to Xia Tang state per Jing Hong's command. Unbeknownst to Asule, Xiao Zhou goes in his stead as collateral until his return.
