In declaring the Li army as the temporary Elite Guard for the Emperor, he also publicly exonerates the Tianqu Warriors. Yu Ran seeks out Ji Ye, letting him know the marriage with Gui Chen was to save his life and the imprisoned Tianqu Warriors, but this does not change his path.
